a good part of my day was spent in suntec watching cheerobics. thank God we went there quite early and got good spots cos just awhile after we arrived the crowd started coming in. and although we had quite good standing spots it was quite annoying cos there was this huge malay family who was having some sort of a picnic with nasi lemak, macs, lots of drinks and those cooler ice box thing. they took up the whole place and they each took turns walking around and there was so much empty space but they wouldnt let us move forward. grawl. denise and i were like so happy when some of them got out cos we wanted to go and sit but whenever we moved forward they'd be like oh my children went toilet. sheesh. and there were these ah lianish people who were damn irritating cos they kept shouting into my ear and shouting cos they found one of the mg girls damn pretty so were kept going like "wah chao chio, chao chio, chio buuuu" omg larh. the primary school kids were damn cute. especially the little boys. there was a team from de ming primary school which was pretty amusing cos they were like quite unprepared and nervous so the whole routine was quite a mess. needless to say, magnum force was stunning. there was the bangkok uni team which flew down for guest performance. they were, awesome. most of their bodies were like wooohooo. the girls were flying across everywhere and they were super synchronized. their pyramids were so stable and the zest was just woah. they really left everyone speechless. but gab said that they might all be men in disguise thats why they're so sturdy. haha. headed down to some hall to look for mike where we saw this barons beer strongest man challenge thing. there was a cart with tonnes of beer bottles and two baron models weighing 2000kg and the competitors had to try to lug the cart 10meters to the finish line in the fastest time. so far the fastest that we saw was 9 seconds but i heard the fastest was about 6 seconds. and the winner wins 5000bucks or something like that. now bad eh. but its really quite scary cos there was this guy who fell cos his shoes had no friction and he almost got rolled over by the cart. yikes.
headed to taka and waited for the longest time queuing at the m1 shop. went to zara to look for black pants after that before heading to crystal jade restaurant to make reservations only to realise that the place was half empty so there was no need for reservations. underpassed to lucky plaza to buy corn bits and when i stepped out of the place i saw the bus so we ran.
6 whole hours of standing and walking. oh my poor aching legs.
